Did you know there is real-life fort from the World War II era (https://www.nps.gov/fopo/index.htm) sitting just underneath the south end of the Golden Gate Bridge?  I did not!  Fort Point is a historic site that's replete with lookouts, canons, and an amazing view of San Francisco's most iconic piece of architecture.

After Fort Point, we headed to a more wooded area of Presidio known as Lover's Lane.  There we found a very cool piece of art known as Wood Line, by Andy Goldsworthy (https://www.presidio.gov/places/andy-goldsworthys-wood-line).  A snaking line of eucalyptus leads you through a beautiful corridor of forestry.

San Francisco has always been one of my favorite cities that I've never lived in.  Going back reminded me why :)
